Delete Your Account: "Taqset"

Taqset is a platform developed and published by Mypcot Infotech Pvt Ltd. Customers can request deactivation of their account directly within the application at any time.

How to Delete (Deactivate) Your Account

To deactivate your account:

  1. Open the Taqset.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Navigate to My Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap on Delete Account.
  6. Review the account deletion information.
  7. Confirm your request.

Once confirmed, your account deactivation request will be processed by the system.

Account Deletion (Deactivation) Behavior

Upon successful confirmation:

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately.
  • You will no longer be able to access the Taqset app using the deleted account.
  • Your profile will no longer be available for active use within the platform.
  • Any referral benefits, membership status, and app-specific privileges associated with the account will be disabled.
  • Access to saved cards, wallets, bookings, payment history, and account preferences will be restricted.

Please note that account deletion may not be completed if there are outstanding BNPL installments, unpaid dues, active disputes, or ongoing financial obligations associated with the account.

Data Handling Policy (Soft Deletion)

When you delete your account:

  • Your account is not permanently removed from our systems immediately.
  • The account is marked as inactive (soft deleted).
  • Your personal information becomes inaccessible through the application.
  • Your profile is no longer used for active customer-facing services.
  • Historical transaction records, booking records, instalment schedules, and support communications are retained securely.

Data Retention & Usage

We retain certain information for the following purposes:

  • Compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Processing and verification of instalment payments and BNPL obligations.
  • Fraud prevention, risk management, and security monitoring.
  • Resolution of disputes, chargebacks, complaints, or legal claims.
  • Audit, accounting, and taxation requirements.
  • Internal record-keeping and enforcement of platform terms and conditions.

We ensure that retained information is:

  • Stored securely.
  • Protected against unauthorized access.
  • Accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • Not used for customer-facing features after account deactivation.

Outstanding Financial Obligations

Customers using BNPL services must settle all outstanding obligations before account closure can be finalized.

This includes:

  • Pending instalment payments.
  • Late payment fees, where applicable.
  • Outstanding transaction balances.
  • Active disputes requiring resolution.

The platform reserves the right to retain account information until such obligations are fulfilled.

Optional Permanent Data Deletion Request

If you would like your personal information to be permanently deleted, you may submit a request by contacting us directly.

Permanent deletion requests will be reviewed and processed in accordance with:

  • Applicable laws and regulations.
  • Financial record retention requirements.
  • Fraud prevention obligations.
  • Audit and taxation requirements.
  • Contractual obligations related to BNPL services.

Where legally permissible, eligible data will be permanently deleted or anonymized.
